What Our Clients Say

Thank you for all you have done for us, we are forever grateful! Skin Problems

Both of my daughters (4 and 8) developed eczema on the creases of their elbows and behind the knees.

Older daughter’s started when she was only 1.5 years old. Doctors prescribed various steroid creams and ointments over the years. The skin was getting better after round of the steroids but then being inflamed again when we stopped using them. She kept getting prescription for stronger steroid creams where we were able to have longer breaks between uses.

Wet wrapping and special pjs were not enough to stop her from scratching every single night.

When she was 4.5 we spent our holidays in Greece and it was the first time when her skin almost cleared. We were not sure if it was the sun, hours of soaking in the pool or unplanned lack of dairy in her diet for a week – or the mixture of all of the above. After returning home her skin started getting worse again. I have decided to try dairy- free diet. GP referred us to dietitian and they were not very keen to follow my request, claiming there is a very small chance that my child’s eczema is in any way connected with any food intolerances or allergies. I have decided to remove dairy from her diet for 3 months, to see if it will help. Very quickly we have noticed massive improvement and even though the itchy patches weren’t completely gone, the skin was not red and inflamed any more. However, years of using the steroid cream (used as advised by dermatologist) gave her hypopigmentation. We followed dairy-free diet since and every time she ate something with dairy in it, we could see her skin was worsening.

The younger daughter’s rashes appeared very suddenly when she was 4. She woke up one day and her eyes were swollen. She also had the rash all over her torso. The creases of her elbows and behind her knees were inflamed, red raw and itchy. She wasn’t sleeping well and seemed tired all the time. GP prescribed topical steroids and greasy ointments. The rash was gone after a week of use of the steroids but as soon as we stopped using it, the skin was even worse than at the beginning. I didn’t want to use the steroid creams any more. I have read numerous articles about connection between the health of the gut, food intolerances, allergies and eczema.

We cut the dairy out of my younger daughter diet as well but the improvement wasn’t as visible as with our older daughter. Doctor refused referral for the allergy tests.

That’s how I found Tania from Vibrant and I decided to buy the MORA food intolerance testing for both of my girls. We were well looked after and advised on supplements to give them and which products to exclude from their diets.

After just 7 days I could see the difference in their symptoms. They had more energy! Less cravings for sugar, the younger daughter’s eczema stopped being badly inflamed!

After 1 month of diet and supplements eczema on the younger daughter’s torso just disappeared and the areas on the creases of the elbows and behind the knees started “shrinking”!

Tania was always with us. She helped, she gave us advice, she answered our messages very quickly and all our questions in detail.

We were full of hope that with Tania’s guidance and supplements we can help our daughters to overcome their skin problems.

Today, after almost 6 months of regular supplementing and diet excluding the food groups that were affecting my children, their skin is almost 100% clean and itch free! The patches of whiter pigment (they are of mixed white and Asian origin) are disappearing. We could not be happier for them!

When I asked my daughter what would she like me to say to Tania she said: “Tania, you are our hero!”
